Howard Sheard has over 35 years in the electrical utility business with the Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con-Ed). Throughout his career Howard has focused on safety and performance. In 2010 when introduced to and certified by the Practicing Perfection Institute (PPI) Howard saw the vision and took it to the next level.
Event-free, world-wide-one life at a time.
From that day forward, Howard has been a champion for change using the principles of PPI in his professional and personal life. Howard attended PPI Certification every two years until he retired from his company in 2017. Howard then Joined PPI as a Master Facilitator to spread the vision around the world. Howard has a passion for uplifting people, and also volunteers his time as a motivational speaker.
Howard has been counted on to facilitate Human Performance (HPI) workshops throughout Con Edison’s many operating organizations.
In 2014 Howard received the Consolidated Edison’s Corporate Safety Leadership Award for his role improving safety and performance thru HPI.
Howard held various operating positions in Con-Ed. Some of which include:
– Senior Substation Operator
– Energy Control Center District Operator
– Energy Control Center Substation Operations Shift Manager
– Senior Instructor
– Area Manager
Howard holds an undergraduate degree (Magna cum laude) in Organizational Management and graduate degree in Organizational Leadership, both from Manhattan College in New York.
